Makoti down duvets are manufactured using a fully washable, pre-shrunk,
100% pure cotton down-proof fabric and edged with piping. Since cotton
is a natural fibre, it combines well with the natural goose down used at
our factory.
Each duvet is sewn with great attention to detail. A baffled
construction ensures that the down can absorb air and retain heat. Each
compartment is sealed so that minimum lateral movement of the down takes
place. Decades of experience and expertise has gone into the design of
our baffled box construction, assuring that your Makoti Down Products
duvet, comforter or eiderdown will deliver many years of comfort and
warmth.
This is a method of construction has several distinct advantages over
other styles including:
- Holds the goose down securely in each chamber, eliminating
shifting.
- Maximizes "loft" for better insulation and a fluffier look.
- Eliminates "cold spots" common to other styles of down duvet,
comforter or eiderdowns.

Goose down is softer and warmer and
will last longer than the goose half down..
The warmth factor of down fillings used in our products are expressed in
the internationally recognized Tog value. Tog is an indication of
